Watch: Ranbir romances Pallavi in ‘Love Ki Ghanti’

After giving some strong performances in ‘Barfi’ and ‘Rockstar’, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to show some ‘Tapori’ moves in his upcoming movie ‘Besharam’.

The makers of ‘Besharam’ released the trailer of the movie a few days back. They have now released the first song of the movie called ‘Love Ki Ghanti’. In this song, Ranbir is seen to be wooing Pallavi Sharda. The song is playful and the lyrics are equally catchy. The duration of the song is 2 minutes and 35 seconds. The background of the song is a marketplace. Ranbir is seen in a ‘Tapori’ avatar. He is wearing a multi colored inner shirt and has worn another shirt above that. Pallavi is shown as a naive girl. She is wearing Indian attire in this song. Pallavi made her debut in Bollywood with ‘My Name Is Khan’. She did a cameo in this movie. She also appeared in 2012 released movie ‘Heroine’.

‘Besharam’ is a comedy film directed by Abhinav Kashyap. He debuted as director in Bollywood with ‘Dabangg’, which was a super hit movie and became one of the highest grossing movies of Bollywood. He is the younger brother of noted director Anurag Kashyap. ‘Besharam’ star casts are Ranbir Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda. The movie will hit theaters on 2nd October. Since 2nd October is celebrated as a national holiday, this movie is going to benefit from a holiday release.

Filming for this movie began last year in December. A major part of the shooting has taken place at the Film City, Mumbai. The tagline of the movie states ‘Na sammaan ka moh, na apmaan ka bhay’ which can be translated as ‘Neither want for respect, nor fear of disrespect’.

Apart from the lead casts, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Javed Jaffrey also appear in this movie in prominent roles. It will be interesting to watch Ranbir act with his parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. It is also reported that Hrithik Roshan will be doing a cameo in this movie.

The music of the movie is given by Lalit Pandit. The movie will have six sound tracks. Lalit Pandit told that the music of the movie was completed even before the filming began. The music was completed in the pre-production stage.  The movie has a budget of Rs.60 crores. The first trailer of the movie was released in an orphanage by Ranbir and Abhinav.
