Ranbir Kapoor is the new face of Renault India

Ranbir Kapoor has been appointed as the new brand ambassador of Renault India. He earlier endorsed Nissan Micra and has now moved on to a bigger vehicle with the Renault Duster. A video was posted on Youtube on Sunday showing Ranbir getting off a helicopter and stepping into a Renault Stepway.

The YouTube video that was uploaded on June 26, 2015, simply states, "The moment is here! We are happy to announce that our new brand ambassador is none other than the 'Rockstar' of Indian Cinema - Ranbir Kapoor!"

“Together with its product offensive strategy that has been strategically planned to meet this objective, there is also a firm plan to aggressively expand the dealership footprint, and reach 280 sales and service outlets by the end of next year,” the company said.

Renault India Operations Country CEO and Managing Director Sumit Sawhney said Kapoor portrays a “blend of talent, class, intelligence and popularity.

French auto major Renault on Monday signed the agreement with Ranbir. Renault is celebrating its fourth year anniversary in India this July and is planning to launch new models.

The French carmaker will launch the Kwid small car soon and the price tag has been kept Rs 3 - 4 lakh.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' with Katrina Kaif.
