Ranbir ignores his 'Besharam' co-star Pallavi Sharda

It is reported that Ranbir, who is mostly friendly with his co-stars remained distant with his ‘Besharam’ co-star, Pallavi Sharda. They are reported to share dull on screen and off screen chemistry.

With all the top notch actresses being loaded with movies, film makers are left with only new comers to cast opposite an ‘A’ rated actors. And this is what happened with Abhinav Singh Kashyap’s upcoming movie ‘Besharam’. Industry people were little taken back when they heard that newbie Pallavi was chosen to act opposite Ranbir.

A source says, “Everyone was quite surprised when Pallavi’s name was announced to star opposite Ranbir in Abhinav Singh Kashyap’s film. They didn’t quite get along on the sets. Ranbir would be in his elements during the shoot but appeared distant during his scenes with Pallavi.”

This can be one of the reasons for the unfriendliness between Ranbir and Pallavi. Ranbir hardly interacted with Pallavi outside of the shots. When not shooting, they were spotted in their respective corners.

Currently, Ranbir is busy shooting in Sri Lanka. He remained unavailable for comment. However, the co-producer of ‘Besharam’, Himanshu Mehra says, “Ranbir is a very supporting and encouraging co-star. He is a team player. Pallavi and Ranbir share great chemistry both on screen and off.”

A few sources claim that Ranbir wanted his babe, Kat to be a part of the movie and a few claim that for the sake of Kat, Ranbir is trying to stay away from his Casanova image. Whatever, a cold chemistry between the lead pairs will surely negatively affect the business of the movie.
