Rajinikanth, Deepika to visit Japan in December

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is likely to visit Japan with his ‘Kochadaiyaan’ ladylove Deepika Padukone in December. Rajinikanth has a huge fan following in Japan and the actor will be heading to Tokya for the promotion of his first release after recuperating from illness. After the tsunami disaster in Japan, Rajini always wanted to visit the place and meet the people there but due to his illness he could not make it possible. Now his visit will serve two purposes.

Rajinikanth and Deepika will leave for Tokya in December. Says a source close to the project, "All the dynamics of a Japanese premiere for Kochadaiyaan are being worked out. Deepika and Rajni Sir are expected to be in Tokyo in December for the premiere."

The actor is fine now and the doctors also gave green signal to travel. When contacted, the film's producer Murli Manohar said, "We're looking at a gigantic release. The film will be released in separate languages in different parts. We're planning to give Rajini's fans a treat."

Apparently, Rajinikanth is learning some Japanese to interact with his fans comfortably..

"He will not be able to dub his own lines in the Japanese version of Kochadaiyaan but he will be able to converse with his fans," says our source.

The film is expected to have a four-city world premiere tour, with Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone. They will tour Japan, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai.

Directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya, the film will hit the theatre on December 12 coinciding Rajikanth’s birthday.
