Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman’s re-entry into bollywood

Veteran actors Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman will be seen in producer-director Shahrukh Mirza’s movie Jaana-Lets fall in love. They are making their re-entry after a long gap. The movie will also be Shahrukh Mirza’s son, Rehaan’s debut film.
Rehaan will play the lead role in the film and Anjana Sukhani will star opposite him. The movie is about two generations and goes through a timeframe of 20 years. It’s about a small town lad who wants to be rich and thinks that money and success can be achieved through his lady love. Rajesh Khanna is one of central characters of the film and he plays a man who returns to India to find his old love, played by Zeenat Aman.

Mirza wanted Raj Kapoor to direct his film earlier on and the script was even narrated to him. Raj Kapoor liked the story but suggested that they change the climax to an emotional one, but the Mirza Brothers did not wish to change the climax. According to Mirza this was the reason he missed out on an opportunity to work with a legend like Raj Kapoor and he truly regretted this decision. He has currently re worked the plot.

The film will also see the launch of Mirza’s other son, Farhaan who will make his debut as a director. Rehaan is being personally groomed by his father; he has also done his training from Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting school and has learnt dance lessons from Shakur. The music of the film will be done by five music directors, as Mirza wants top quality. He feels that all of them have done a good job and that the songs will definitely be chartbusters. Mirza also added that the film would incorporate several super hit numbers and dialogues from earlier Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman movies.

Mirza feels that Rajesh Khanna suits the role aptly and he too is a superstar like Amitabh Bachchan. When he narrated the script to Khanna, he liked it and agreed to do it. Mirza projects today’s youth through his film and he hopes that it will deliver a social message to everyone.
