Raj Babbar to re-launch his sons, Arya and Prateik

If sources are to be believed, yesteryear superstar Raj Babbar, who managed to entertain one and all in Bollywood, is these days busy looking out for the 'right opportunity' for his sons- Arya and Prateik Babbar. The superstar is all set to re-launch Arya and Prateik and wants to make sure that their career hits the right track.

According to reports, Raj Babbar is looking for a good script and a director who would be able to make a film with the two young lads. He is reportedly looking for scripts wherein both his sons get equal opportunities to display their acting skills. He said that Aarya and Prateik are both very talented but their wrong choices of projects have resulted in their careers going downhill.

“I am searching for a script and a director, who would be able to make a film where both my sons get equal opportunities”, says veteran actor Raj Babbar, confirming that both his sons will make it back to B-Town, with a bang!

Actors Aarya Babbar and Prateik Babbar have been struggling to find foothold in the Bollywood industry since last many years.

Arya Babbar started his film career with Raj Kanwar's ‘Ab ke Baras’ alongside Amrita Rao but that flopped at the box office. He has worked with stalwarts like Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar and Vikram Bhatt. Also he appeared in films such as ‘Yaar Annmulle’, ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ and ‘Ready’. However, the actor failed to get noticed.

Prateik Babbar made his acting debut in the Aamir Khan production, ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ alongside Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza. His portrayal of the annoying, attention-seeking brother of Genelia's character won him critical appreciation as well as numerous awards.  The film went on to become a major commercial success.

Following this initial success, he appeared in films which earned him little recognition. The first of which was Kiran Rao's ‘Dhobi Ghaat’, the action-thriller ‘Dum Maro Dum’ alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Rana Daggubati, the Prakash Jha-directed social drama ‘Aarakshan’ and also ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ and ‘Issaq’ both of which underperformed at the box office.

Well.. now that papa dearest has come to their rescue, hopefully the two actors will make it huge on the silver screen. After all, darling daddy has full faith in his beloved sons!

Currently, Raj Babbar is working on his upcoming film ‘Tevar’ and is simultaneously in touch with several writers hoping to lock an interesting script for his boys soon.
