‘Raid’ Trailer: Ajay Devgn rocks as non-uniform IT commissioner


The tRaidler of ‘Raid’ starring Ajay Devgn as Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax was released and it was breath-taking. Ajay as IT commissioner Amay Patnaik was convincing. The trailer begins with non-uniform Amay tapping the door of a wealthy man for raid.

He shared the trailer of his forthcoming film on Twitter, "Heroes don't always come in uniform. Here's the #RaidTrailer ... in cinemas on 16th March." The 48-year-old actor also revealed the details about his role in the film on Twitter, along with the first look poster: "Meet Amay Patnaik - Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow. #RaidTrailer out at 11.30 AM. Stay tuned!" 

Amay Patnaik is a very sincere IT commissioner and did not think the consequence of taking any drastic step against the wrongdoers. He performs his duty boldly and doesn’t care of anything.

Ileana D’Cruz plays Amay’s wife, who is very scared of her husband’s sternness towards his work. She fears for his life as he does not think twice to revolt against criminals.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had also shared the first look poster of the film along with other details, "Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz and Saurabh Shukla... First look poster of #Raid... Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak... Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta... 16 March 2018 release," he wrote on Twitter.

‘Raid’ is a true story based on longest raid in the year 1981 in Lucknow

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film has been written by Ritesh Shah of 'Pink' and 'Airlift' fame. Ajay and Ileana have teamed up together for the second time after 'Baadshaho'. The film is scheduled to release on March 16.
