Raees: Shah Rukh, Mahira share a crackling chemistry in ‘Zaalima’ song

After the recreated song ‘Laila Main Laila’ featuring the sizzling Sunny Leone, ‘Raees’ makers have released another song titled ‘Zaalima’. Shah Rukh Khan, who has been tweeting teasers of the song, finally shared the link to the complete song by writing, “Jaan se #Zaalima tak…. Hope you all like it!” The film’s leading lady Mahira Khan, too shared the song with caption, “#Zaalima tujh se hi shuru, tujh pe hi khatam ….”

The song is a romantic melody in the soothing voice of Arijit Singh and Harshdeep Kaur. The music has been composed by Pritam, while the lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya are lovely.

The video of the song is very visually appealing. Shah Rukh is seen romancing the Pakistani beauty amidst the sand dunes of dessert, by the sea shore and under the night sky. Mahira, who is making her Bollywood debut with the film, looks stunning in her ensembles, while Shah Rukh with his well-trimmed beard and Kohl-lined eyes, looks charming. The on-screen couple also share a crackling chemistry. Shah Rukh once again proves that he is indeed, the king of romance.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film is loosely based on Ahmedabad-based don Abdul Latif who ran the illicit liquor business in the state during the peak of Prohibition in the 1990s, and Shah Rukh plays the character of a bootlegger named Raees Alam. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of a tough police officer, who is out to thwart Raees’ illegal business.

The film is slated to hit theatres on January 25.
