Radhika Apte says ‘Not bothered about leaked nude video’

The ‘Badlapur’ actress Radhika Apte said that she is least bothered about the leaked nude video. She said that neither she nor her family is worried about the lead nude video from Anurag’s film.

In a interview with E3 Talkies, Radhika claimed that she is too busy to get affected by these incidents. "I don't have time for this. You know the whole world has lots of people, who have no jobs. They sit at home and do whatever they want to do. So you can't waste your time on going and making a complaint or even looking at it," the Badlapur actress stated.

When asked how she responded to the controversy, she said "I saw it and laughed it off because it is really funny…. I am really busy. I can't waste my time doing that. My family and I never get affected by any of these things. So it just doesn't bother me.”

Radhika embroiled in nude photo leak controversy twice. Previously, her fake nude selfies, did all the round and now her controversial nude video from Anurag’s film leaked in Whatsapp.

The video clip is part of Anurag Kashyap’s Hollywood short film and it shows the actress reportedly exposing her lower private parts.

Anurag Kashyap expressed anger and feels responsible for the leak.

Highly fumed Anurag said, “It took us so much time to do it in a non-sexual way, as it is meant to be absolutely non-sexual and we took all the care we could. It was not easy to find an actor who is brave enough to participate in it. The entire shooting crew was women as we knew that we were making something as sensitive as this. And there were girls at every stage of the post-production. At every stage of the post-production, that part was either sent blank or pixelated before being sent. So, nobody even knew who is a part of the film. And everybody assumes that since it is an Indian film, it will always be pixelated. After taking all the care, the film was delivered to New York a month back. And then, all of a sudden after a month from nowhere, this video popped up online.”

Kashyap further said, “It has to be some Indian guy there, otherwise other material from other sources that is much more sexual is available to the West and something like this does not get them excited. I had shown the film before sending it to many of my friends including Vikramaditya Motwane's mother and she cried as she felt it was so powerful and we needed to put out something like this. Radhika Apte herself was so proud of it. But when you put out a video like this without context, people start making jokes on it. You try to take a step forward as a filmmaker, they take you five steps back.”

The ‘Bombay Velvet’ has lodged complaint with cyber crime branch. He already informed the Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria and investigation is on.
