Qandeel Baloch: 10 hot and sizzling photos of the model
Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch was reportedly murdered by her own brother in Multan in Punjab province. Qandeel became the latest victim of "honour killings" that outbreak in the country.
Police said apparently she was killed by her brother named
Wasim, who has fled after the incident.
"She was suffocated to death by strangulation. It seems to be a case of
honour killing but we are investigating it," district police chief Azhar
Akram said.
Born as Fouzia Azeem, Qandeel Baloch had been receiving death threats from her urging her to quit modelling. Her brother Wasim was threatening her over her for vulgar Facebook posts and videos.
According to police official, three weeks ago, the sizzling
model wrote to the interior minister, the director general of the Federal
Investigation Authority (FIA) and the senior superintendent of Islamabad asking
them to provide security as her life was in danger.
In her letter, she wrote that she is getting threatening calls on her mobile
number and that she did not have security measures installed in her home.
Qandeel hogged the limelight in Pakistan in 2014 after a
video of her pouting for the camera.
She became a social media queen for her repeated sensational social media posts
and video. She had about tens thousands followers.
Many times, she had expressed her desire to marry ex-cricketer and opposition
politician Imran Khan.
