Priyanka downs tequila shots on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

After appearing in Jimmy Kimmel Live and Jimmy Fallon's show, Priyanka Chopra appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday. She looked stunning in a white Zimmermann dress. Priyanka was her usual self and impressed everyone with her wit and charm.

The show, hosted by comedian Ellen DeGeneres, is known for its many fun and quirky segments. Ellen started the show with Priyanka with a game called ‘Drinko’. It required the actress to drop a coin through a small maze-box and drink from the glass in which the coin fell. The coin dropped into a glass of tequila.

Being the sport that she is Priyanka gulped down the tequila shot and exclaimed in jest, "Thank you for that. This will be a really smooth interview."

Priyanka was on the show to promote the second season of her hit thriller series ‘Quantico’. The actress played an FBI agent in the first season of the tele-series. Talking about it, Priyanka revealed that she did not know about FBI or CIA before she started working on the show.

"I mean we have our own acronyms in India, which is CBI, but the only thing I knew about FBI, CIA is what I watched on TV, which is like ‘Homeland’, and all the shows that we love,” she said.

“I did not know how to announce myself, but it gives you such a sense of power when you break down a door, and go, ‘FBI, FBI!’ in that voice. It’s really like….you feel really powerful. I enjoy that part the most, in Quantico,” Priyanka added.

She also talked about her journey as a young 17-year-old Miss India and how she at 18 won the Miss World title and how it became awkward to attend college afterwards. Priyanka and Ellen also went on to talk about drinking habits of Americans and Indians.

Ellen shared a snippet of the interview with Priyanka on her Twitter handle and wrote, [email protected] has been Miss India and Miss World, and today she’s on my show for the first time. I should’ve given her a sash.”

To this Priyanka replied, “Lol @TheEllenShow. Next time! See you soon!”
