Priyanka Chopra’s engagement ring costs Rs 2 crore

Nick Jonas has closed down a Tiffany & Co store for sometime to select the perfect engagement ring for his ladylove, Priyanka Chopra. He put the big rock in Priyanka’s finger around her 36th birthday. PeeCee flaunted her engagement ring at Manish Malhotra’s bash and it was absolutely stunning. It is learnt that Nick has spent nearly 2 crore for the ring.

Andrew Brown, President of WP Diamonds, told E! News that Nick spent a jaw-dropping $200,000 (Rs 1,40,35,000) on the purchase. "Priyanka's ring is a high quality cushion cut weighing around 4 carats. It looks to be somewhere around a G color, VS1 clarity which, from Tiffany & Co, would have a value of around $200,000," he elaborated.

On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter quoted gemmologist and diamond expert Grant Mobley revealing the details about Priyanka’s gorgeous engagement ring: “It is a timeless design and features a cushion-cut diamond set in platinum with what looks like small baguette diamonds on the sides.” He went on to add that as Tiffany’s diamonds are ethically sourced, they are among the best found in nature.

“A ring of this size and quality would cost around $300,000,” THR quoted him as saying. In Indian rupees, the cost of Priyanka’s ring comes to approximately Rs 2.1 crore.

Priyanka and Nick will throw an engagement bash in Mumbai on Saturday. On Thursday night, he landed in Mumbai with his parents.
