Priyanka Chopra’s dream project ‘Madamji’ shelved

Versatile actress Priyanka Chopra’s dream project ‘Madamji’, to be directed by ace director Madhur Bhandarkar is put on hold. The film which might see Priyanka Chopra debuting as the film producer will not see the light of the day anytime soon. The ambitious project was put on hold due to Priyanka’s busy schedule.

After finalizing ‘Madamji’ based on the dancer turned politician Anokhi Devi, Piggy Chops headed to Los Angeles for three months schedule for her Hollywood venture, ‘Quantico’. On returning last week, she got busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Soon she will also start shooting for Reema Kagti’s untitled film opposite Fawad Khan.

In this process, ‘Madamji’ kept on delaying which was supposed to go on floor in April. Sources rubbish the report of sharing cold blood between Madhur Bhandarkar and Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka and Madhur delivered blockbuster ‘Fashion’ in the past, which bagged the actress a National Award. In true sense, ‘Fashion’ marked Priyanka Chopra first Bollywood hit. Hectic schedule pushed the film behind.

Next, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.
