Priyanka Chopra's brother Siddharth Chopra, Ishita Kumar’s wedding cancelled?


All is not well with Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra and his fiancée Ishita Kumar. The couple had a roka ceremony on February 27 and they were supposed to enter into wedlock last month but Ishita’s emergency surgery postponed the wedding. Priyanka Chopra also came to India on April 24 to be part of her brother’s wedding but unfortunately, she had to leave  s the wedding got postponed. Now, a fresh report is being circulated on net which says Siddharth and Ishita’s wedding did not get postponed but got cancelled as all is not well between the couple.

"There are rumours that the wedding has been called off, but it is not true. Ishittaa needs some time to recuperate from her surgery and the families are looking for another mahurat," a source was quoted by the daily.

Ishitta also shared hospital picture a week ago, stating, "Recovering from surgery. Very painful but glad it's over."

However, the reports about their troubled relationship surfaced when on Thursday, Ishitta posted another picture of herself at a resto-bar with a cryptic caption, "Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings."

Her mother, Nidhi Kumar, also commented on the picture saying, "Close old book and write new story" while father Anirudh stated, "We are with you; Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be."

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the roka ceremony pictures are also missing from Ishitta's Instagram handle, only her solo picture is available. In fact, Ishitta had deleted all pictures of Siddharth from her Instagram handle.

However, on her six days visit to India, Priyanka was spotted hanging out with Isha Ambani and Parineeti Chopra. She also inaugurated mother Madhu Chopra’s clinic but did not comment anything on Ishita’s health and not even wished her a speedy recovery.

In fact, after returning to US, the actress unfollowed Ishittaa on Instagram.

On Thursday, when Madhu Chopra was asked about Siddharth's wedding by Bombay Times, she said, "We are disappointed but what can you do when a person is unwell? We wish Ishittaa a speedy recovery."
