Priyanka Chopra to play IPS officer Kiran Bedi


It seems Priyanka Chopra has been hooked to play only real life inspiring character. After playing the iconic boxer, Mary Kom in a biopic by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Omung Kumar, titled ‘Mary Kom’, she has been now approached to play retired IPS officer Kiran Bedi. Though Priyanka has not yet given her nod to the project, she has showed immense interest.

The actress’s spokesperson informed that Priyanka has been approached to play Kiran Bedi and she has been offered Rs 10 crore for the film. The film will be reportedly directed by ‘Luck’ director Sohan Shah.

Priyanka Chopra who is enjoying the success of ‘Mary Kom’ is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film 'Dil Dhadakna Do', starring Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and others. The movie is slated to hit the silver screens on June 5, 2015.
