Priyanka Chopra lends voice to superhero Ms Marvel


Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is now Miss Marvel. The Bollywood actress who stormed the West with her successful series ‘Quantico’ has lent the voice to the character of Ms Marvel in the gaming app Marvel Avengers Academy.

An excited Priyanka shared the news on her social media pages. “From Miss World to Ms. Marvel… what a ride! I've always wanted to be a super hero, so it was amazing to give life to Ms. Marvel in MARVEL Avengers Academy. She's a very human superhero. Download the game today from https://goo.gl/ATa6Ky and let’s PLAY!” the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ posted on Instagram with the animated picture of her character.

“Say hello to Ms. Marvel-I’m her voice and she’s my alter ego in MARVEL Avengers Academy!” she wrote on Twitter.

The newly launched game imagines a Marvel Universe where Earth’s mightiest heroes and villains are enrolled at the ultimate superhero school, Avengers Academy.

Several other Hollywood stars have also lent their vocals to various characters, including Alexandra Daddario as Wasp, Colton Haynes as Thor, Bella Thorne as Tigra, Kiernan Shipka as Spider-Woman, Dave Franco as Tony Stark, Alison Brie as Black Widow, rapper A$AP Rocky as Falcon and WWE superstar John Cena as Hulk.

This is not the first time that Priyanka has lent her voice to a Hollywood project. She was the voice of the character ‘Ishani' in Disney’s 2013 blockbuster ‘Planes’.

Priyanka is in talks to join actor-producer Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in the big screen adaptation of the 1990s popular series ‘Baywatch’. The actress is also listed among the presenters of the 88th Oscars to be held on Sunday, February 28.
