Pratyusha tried to play a prank on Rahul, Pratyusha's friend Jazz

In a new twist to the mystery surrounding Pratyusha Banerjee’s alleged suicide, a girl named Jazz who claims to be a common friend of Pratyusha and her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, has made a shocking revelation. Jazz claimed that the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actress didn’t commit suicide but played a prank on her boyfriend.

Jazz is a struggling Bollywood actress and will be in Rajeev Chaudhari’s 'Beimaan Love' starring Sunny Leone.

Speaking to a leading tabloid, Jazz said, “Pratyusha was too strong a woman to kill herself. I was with her till the morning of that fateful day and I didn’t get any inkling of any such intention. She was cheerful and happy about her impending marriage to Rahul. I feel Pratyusha was trying to play a prank on Rahul and her prank led to the accident. She was not the type to take in any of Rahul’s highhandedness and end her life over it.”

She claimed that she was partying with Rahul and Pratyusha at the latter’s Goregaon residence the night before her death, and stayed till next morning. Pratyusha was drinking beer and looked happy, Jazz said.

Regarding the marks on Pratyusha’s face and neck, she said these were burn injuries. “When I met Pratyusha, I asked her about the marks. She told me that it was due to spluttering of hot oil while frying fish and when the skin burns, it takes time to heal,” she told the tabloid.

Jazz also denied that the Pratyusha was in an abusive relationship with Rahul, who facing charges in his girlfriend’s death case. Talking about this, Jazz said, “She (Pratyusha) was keen to get married. If any woman would have had a problem with their guy, they would go to their mother’s or best friend’s house. Plus, there was an option of staying alone and block the person from her life.”

“Everyone goes through financial issues, and problems do exist between a couple, but that does not mean you end your life,” she added.

Jazz has recorded her statement with the Bangur Nagar Police who is investigating the case, after the actress’ death. But she kept away from media as she did not want any troubles or attention.
