Poster Out: Tiger Shroff lifts Kriti Sanon in ‘Heropanti’

Heropanti’ marks the debut venture of Jackie Shroff's son Tiger Shroff and the second poster shows Tiger lifting his co-star Kriti Sanon over his shoulder and it would not be wrong to say Tiger was looking awesome in the second poster and he has donned Aamir Khan’s ‘Dhoom 3’ lucky hat in both the posters.

The first poster shows Tiger resting in a bike with face covered with a hat and flaunting his chiseled body. The teaser poster gave the fans a glimpse of Tiger’s well toned body. The official poster of the film was released on April 4.

Tiger has worked hard on every department of acting for his debut film. His role has a lot of action and dancing. Confirms Tiger, "The action and dance are a big part of the script. I've been training really hard for those. And I don't need to unlearn those skills. But yes, there are a lot of new things I need to learn for the role."

"I’m excited because I’ve worked hard for this film, and I’m anxious to see the final product of all our hard work. I’m nervous because I have big shoes to fill (because of comparisons with his father). But I think it’s only natural to feel that way as it's my first film," the actor admitted in an earlier interview.

‘Heropanti’ is directed by Sabbir Khan and Tiger says he has learnt a lot from him.

"My grooming consisted firstly of understanding cinema as a medium. Sabbir sir would have endless conversations with me, over months, about movies and the craft; he made me unlearn preconceived notions and just focus and absorb my character. He told me right in the beginning that he was in no rush, and that we would start shooting only when I’d become the character I was to enact", quips the actor.

‘Heropanti’ has loads of heavy stunts by Tiger and he was so engrossed in performing his action scene that in a particular scene, he ended up breaking his stuntman’s jaw.

A source close to unit says, “Tiger was shooting a particular scene for the film at a Mira Road studio. He was required to put a certain amount of energy into his kick. But then he miscalculated and ended up hitting the stuntman quite hard; the stuntman broke his jaw. Soon after, the producer made sure that the stuntman was attended to. The production house also took care of all his medical expenses and worked towards his speedy recovery.”

When contacted, director Sabir Khan confirmed the story. “When we were shooting this scene, the stuntman didn’t react in time, so his jaw was injured. But we rushed him to the hospital and had him treated. We later shot the same scene with another stuntman,” he said, adding that after this incident, Tiger has been more careful while shooting action scenes.
