Police complaint against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was trapped in a legal hassle. Police complaint has been filed against him following his failure to turn up for the show organized by Trzy Events at Gurgaon town. He failed to make to the event due to visa problem. For his unavailability, the organizers had to incur a heavy loss. 

"The show was scheduled in sector 29 and the tickets were sold. The organisers got to know yesterday (Friday) that the singer couldn`t come to perform as he did not get the visa. They filed a complaint with us," said a senior Gurgaon police official.

"We are looking at the complaint and will see what action can be taken," the official said. The organizers, Trzy Events later called off the concert.

"We have suffered a huge loss. As many as 3,000 tickets were sold," said one of the organisers.

The tickets ranged from Rs.1,000 to Rs. 2,000. The organizers finally decided to return the money to the audience.

The singer called the organizers on Friday evening and said he won’t be able to make it. "He said that his travel permission was till Mumbai only and he could not come to Delhi," a representative of the organisers said.
