Pic: Randeep, Richa play mud-Holi on ‘Sarabjit’ sets

Bollywood actors Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda who are shooting for Omung Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Sarabjit’ in Punjab, were spotted indulging in Holi festivities on the sets of the film. The two actors enjoyed Holi with a twist and instead of using colours, they used mud.

According to a source from the sets, the unit was filming a mud sequence which turned out to be fun for the entire unit. Randeep who plays the titular role of Sarabjit Singh and Richa who plays Sarabjit’s wife Sukhpreet, were seen having some fun moments in a mud pit.

Richa got into the spirit of Holi and applied mud on Randeep face and also dragged director Omung Kumar into their mud fight. In no time, everyone of the sets got into playing mud-Holi, according to a report in Pinkvilla.

“It was the last shot of the day and Richa decided to have some fun. As Randeep and she were already coloured in 'gerua' mud, she thought it would be fun to involve the crew too,” a source was  quoted as saying.

‘Sarabjit’ is a biopic on Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh who inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan where he was convicted and jailed for espionage and terrorism. He was incarcerated in Lahore Jail for 23 years before being killed by his inmates.

The movie revolves around the determination and struggles of Sarabjit’s elder sister Dalbir Kaur who fought to procure the release of her younger brother. Dalbir’s role is being portrayed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

‘Sarabjit’ is slated to hit screens on May 20.
