Pawan Kalyan slams RGV, says filmmaker talks about porn in public

Tollywood actor-politicial Pawan Kalyan had initiated a silent protest at Visakhapatnam beach demanding special category status to Andhra Pradesh on Republic Day. However, he failed to turn up due to his shooting commitments, and rather took part in the protest via social media.

Ram Gopal Varma, who had been praising Pawan for spearheading the movement, started criticising him. The filmmaker in a series of tweets wrote, “Why is @PawanKalyan still only tweeting from far ..When is he coming to battlefield ? How can a war be won without the king leading it? A true warrior instead of with a phone from a safe distance will be with a sword in the middle of the field.” He even posted an opinion poll for the fans of the actor if they were “extremely angry” or “terribly disappointed” that Pawan didn’t turn up after raising hopes for the protest.

Pawan lashed out at the ‘Satya’ director for meddling in his affairs at a press conference today. The ‘Gabbar Singh’ actor stated that RGV’s comments doesn’t make a difference to him and the filmmaker publicly talks about collecting porn movies.

“I will speak about Ram Gopal Varma once and for all and put an end to this. He is a 50-year-old guy with a daughter who got recently married. Why would I listen to a man who says he collects pornographic films at this age? He talks good and ill about me. There is nothing more I want to say about him,” Pawan said.

RGV was upset with Pawan for making it personal and tweeted, “I spoke about PK only as a fan but never spoke on his personal matters like his three marriages. I already wrote about my lifestyle and my thoughts in my book, Na Ishtam. It is unfortunate that he didn’t understand that I spoke the truth because I like him and not because I want to criticise him.” The filmmaker also bid goodbye to the Jana Sena founder, hinting that he would never comment on him again. “I wish him, his wife, his children, his family, his Jana Sena party and all his fans all the best..Bye,” RGV posted.

RGV also posted a YouTube link of an old interview of him by tweeting, “My views on Porn.”
