Parineeti Chopra shares her childhood pic on Twitter


Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who has taken a break from films for some time after her last film ‘Kill Dil’ flopped at the box office, has shared a picture of her childhood on Twitter.

She posted the picture, where she poses with her parents, on the occasion of her father Pawan Chopra’s birthday. From the photo, it is evident that she has inherited her good looks from her mother.

The actress is currently in Malaysian capital to host the IIFA Rocks, a musical evening held prior to the main event of IIFA awards ceremony. The three-day 16th International Indian Film Academy Awards extravaganza is being held from June 5.

Parineeti made her made her acting debut with 2011 film ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, as a supporting actress. She debuted as the lead actress with ‘Ishaqzaade’ opposite Arjun Kapoor who also made his Bollywood debut with the film.

The actress won the National Film Award – Special Mention for her role in ‘Ishaqzaade’ and was widely praised. She gave back-to-back hits with ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, where she played non-glamorous roles.

The ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ star decided to do a glamorous role in the crime drama ‘Kill Dil’ in 2014, but it utterly failed. The effervescent actress then decided to take some time out for herself.

Reportedly, Parineeti has lost a lot of her weight and is returning to the industry in a glamorous avatar. She has signed a film opposite Saif Ali Khan to be produced by Salman Khan. The film titled ‘Jugalbandi’ will be directed by Sameer Sharma who also directed ‘Love Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’.
