Parineeti Chopra quits a film after five months without a valid reason?
Parineeti Chopra has bagged a lead role in the upcoming instalment of blockbuster franchise ‘Golmaal’, and it seems that she has already become choosy. Reportedly, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress has walked out of a film without citing any reasons.
Apparently, Parineeti has agreed to be a part of choreographer duo Bosco Martis and Caesar Gonsalves' directorial debut ‘Circus’. She approved the script and sat over it for five long months, but finally backed out, leaving the makers in the lurch.
"Pari committed to the film and then walked out of it without an explanation. She then claimed that she was never on board and was only approached for the film, when fact is, she sat on the script for five months after giving her nod to it," a report in DNA quoted a source as saying.
The source further claimed that this isn't the first time that the actress has failed to keep her commitment, as Parineeti has shown interest in many projects and then backed out of them for reasons best known to her.
Bosco had even tied up with a production studio for the film, which has now opted out of the project, following Parineeti’s exit. A shattered Bosco is trying to pull himself together to make his debut film, the source added.
Meanwhile, Parineeti has wrapped up the shooting for Yash Raj Films’ ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She has already started shooting for Homi Adajania’s directorial ‘Takadum’ opposite her ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.
Parineeti has been signed on to replace Kareena Kapoor in ‘Golmaal Again’, alongside Ajay Devgn. The film by Rohit Shetty will go on floors early next year and will hit screens by Diwali, 2017.
