Parineeti and Aditya Roy Kapoor on ‘Food Yatra’

Both Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur are very busy these days with the promotion of their upcoming film ‘Dawat-e-Ishq’.  Apart from traditional promotions they duo has also recently undertaken a unique campaign. The lead pair has embarked on a ‘food yatra’ as food plays an intricate role in the film.

The duo will be visiting several cities across India and will experience local cuisine and culture at the best food joints. Parineeti who is a foodie herself said, “I am looking forward to this fun ride with Aditya. I am a foodie myself. The food trail will start with Madras Cafe in Mumbai where we will have some authentic south Indian delicacies.”

The journey began last Wednesday from Mumbai. The trip will take Aditya and Parineeti to cities like Delhi, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, and Jaipur. During their trip they will be going live on social media and will ask fans to share their views and suggestions. Parineeti added, "For how many days we are going, we don't know. We will ask people on social media where to go and which place is famous for what." Aditya Roy Kapur is very excited as he has never been on a road trip before. He said, "If anybody wants to know where we are, they can track us. We will ask for suggestions."  Parineeti revealed that shooting of the film was difficult as all they did was to eat.

The talented actress who is often called a ‘bubbly’ girl has recently expressed her objections to the word. "When people call me bubbly, I find it really strange. I have done four films and there was nothing similar between Hasee Toh Phasee, Ishaqzaade, Shuddh Desi Romance and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl." She feels that there is no such word as ‘bubbly’. She added, "You can call cold drink and champagne bubbly but not a human being. You can call me colourful, enthusiastic, cheerful but certainly not bubbly." Her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur also feels that “she is not bubbly." Both of them have also expressed solidarity with the flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir. While Aditya Roy Kapur stated “I would definitely love to help the affected, but should be easier to do. It should be feasible and within our time frame”, his co-star Parineeti Chopra added- “All I can do in this point of time is give them my emotional support.”
