‘Padmavati’ row: Rs 10 crore for beheading Deepika Padukone, Bhansali


The sword of anger and fright are hanging over Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s head. After Rs 5 crore rewards for Deepika Padukone head now another BJP official named Surajpal Amu, announced Rs 10 crore rewards to the one beheading Deepika Padukone and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

BJP media coordinator Suraj Pal Amu also expressed his support for Rajput Karni Sena's threat of chopping off Ms Padukone's nose.

"I want to congratulate the young man from Meerut for announcing Rs 5 crore bounty for beheading Deepika, Bhansali. We will reward the ones beheading them with Rs 10 crore, and also take care of their family's needs," he said.

Looking into the controverseries, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje of Rajasthan also wrote to I&B minister Smriti Irani to delay the release of the film.

Moreover, the release date of ‘Padmavati’ was pushed back due as the film is yet to receive censor board certification.
