Bumper opening day box-office collection of 'Bang Bang'


Despite receiving not so positive reviews, ‘Bang Bang’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead opens with a great start, the film is all set to create a new box-office record. Released in more than 5,100 theatres across India and 50 other countries with record breaking number of screens in countries like US, UK and the Middle East, ‘Bang Bang’ had a thunderous start with an almost 90-100% occupancy rate in multiplexes. The blend of festive fervour with ‘Bang Bang’ release would surely give the film a big boost.

According to a report, ‘Bang Bang’ has registered an opening day collection of Rs 27.54 crore and has made to the list of top five movie openings of all time in Bollywood but it failed to become the highest opener of 2014. ‘Bang Bang’ is Hrithik Roshan’s first biggest opening. Last year release, ‘Krrish 5’ had an opening day collection of 25.5 crore.

In India, the movie has done well in Mumbai and Delhi and also in the sectors of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
