Opening day box-office collection of ‘Alone’


Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover starrer, ‘Alone’ hits the theatres worldwide on Friday and the film opened with an average reviews from critics. As per report, ‘Alone’ did not fare well at the box-office in the opening day and it is all for the negative reviews and bad word of mouths. The morning shows was damp while the evening shows showed a little hike.

‘Alone’ was released on around 3000 including 500 screens overseas. In the opening day, the film registered around 30-40% occupancy only. Made on a total budget of Rs.40-50 crore (approx), the film had the chance to make around Rs.5-7 crore in the opening day.

Combination of sex and horror, ‘Alone’ witnessed a dull opening across the country. Single theatres business are comparatively doing better than single theates. Business in regions like Odisha, Punjab, Bihar are doing well.
