Now Salman Khan to do a cameo in Shahrukh’s film with Anand L Rai

After Shah Rukh Khan made an impressive cameo as magician Gogo Pasha is Salman Khan’s Eid release ‘Tubelight’, it is now the turn of Salman to return the favour. The Sultan’ star might be doing a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh yet untitled film with director Anand L. Rai.

Shah Rukh spilled the beans saying, “There is a guest appearance in Aanand’s film that I’d like Salman to consider. We are still working on it. But, I would like him to play the role.” However, Shah Rukh refrained from divulging more details about the role.

The ‘Dilwale’ actor is currently shooting for the project which also stars his ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film will see Shah Rukh in the role of a dwarf, while Katrina will play herself, a film star.

Speaking about Salman’s cameo, Shah Rukh smilingly told DNA, “Whether he is playing himself or not, just like Gogo Pasha’s role, we will keep it a secret till the end.” Shah Rukh further added that he is yet to speak to Salman regarding the role. “I am going to speak to him when we get time. Salman and I only meet at 3 am, so we have to wait for the apt time,” he said.

During the promotion of ‘Tubelight’, Salman had said that Shah Rukh agreed to do Gogo Pasha’s role even before he asked him. "When Kabir (director Kabir Khan) narrated the subject to me, he said, 'For this role we should get Shah Rukh.' So, when I called him and I told him that there is a small role in ‘Tubelight’ which I would like you to do it, before completing my sentence, Shah Rukh said, 'I will do it’,” Salman had said.

So, if things work out, which hopefully will, the two friends-turned-foe-turned-friends will be sharing screen space again.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will be next seen opposite Anushka in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic comedy ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ which is scheduled to hit theatres on August 4.
