Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ miserably fall flat at the box-office but filmmaker Karan Johar who made his acting debut in Bollywood in real sense was appreciated for his negative role. At a song launch event, when the ace filmmaker was asked about being casting in his own film, Karan said that he is not ‘stupid’ to cast himself in his movies. “I can’t cast myself, I’m not that stupid,” he said, at a song launch function.

Asked about acting offers, the producer said during a launch of new song of their epic drama 'Baahubali' on Thursday with filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli.

“Not even one person has offered me a role. I’m waiting eagerly for some offer, at least a poor offer which I can refuse. I tried my best, but I think nobody wants to see me on screen.”

During the launch, Karan Johar also said that working with Salman will be a honour, pleasure and privilege for him. “Salman and I worked together in my very first feature film. In 1998 Salman played a very little part in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. So, of course working with him is an honor and I think he is one of our leading superstars and one of the finest people I know, said Karan.
