Not just Aamir, even Shah Rukh gives Salman’s birthday a miss

It was earlier revealed that Aamir Khan will not be attending Salman Khan’s 51st birthday, and now it turns out that even Shah Rukh Khan gave his buddy’s birthday bash a miss.

Salman rang in his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse last night. Like every year, the actor invited his Bollywood colleagues, including Shah Rukh. Reportedly, Salman personally invited the ‘Raees’ actor for the birthday party, but the latter could not make it.

But fans of the Superstars should not fret as everything is okay between Salman and Shah Rukh, and the real reason for King Khan not making his presence at the party is something else. Shah Rukh is out of town. He was in Hyderabad to attend the sixth convocation ceremony of Maulana Azad National Urdu University. The 50-year-old actor has been conferred with honorary doctorate for his contribution towards promotion of Urdu culture. And because of this Shah Rukh could not attend his dear friend’s birthday bash.

In fact, talking about the kind of bond he shares with the ‘Sultan’ actor, Shah Rukh told DNA in an interview, “I think we have a strange, unspoken love. When we became friends, I didn’t know this. But I know now that should, God forbid, either of us be in trouble, we know we will be there for each other always. I know that for a fact. It could be very personal or professional. But he is the one guy I can call upon to do the strangest of things for me if I need it, and so can he.”
