Never shown the ending of ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ to my kids, Shahrukh

Superstar Shahrukh Khan brought tears to the eyes of young and old with ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ climax in which he dies. But King Khan, who is also a doting father to his three children revealed that he has never shown the ending of ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ to his children in which he dies at the end. He is thankful to filmmaker Karan Johar, who has specially edited the film for his children.

Shahrukh, 49, showed a version of the film to his children in which the film ends before his character dies.

In the blockbuster film, directed by Nikhil Advani, Shahrukh Khan played Aman Mathur, a terminally ill patient. The film also starred Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan.

When a fan tweeted SRK about a little girl's reaction after watching ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, the the superstar said that Karan Johar, who produced and wrote the film, made a special edit of the movie for his children to view.

"Never shown the ending of 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' to my kids. Karan made a special edit where movie ends before I fly away," he tweeted.

In the video, the girl burst into tears when at the end she saw Shahrukh Khan passed away. The emotional climax scene moved the little girl into tears.

Earlier this year, the German Embassy in India paid homage to ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ by releasing a short eight-minute video named "Lebe Jetzt", which showed former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid playing the part of Saif Ali Khan and dancing his heart out.

However, Shahrukh Khan has three releases this year, 'Fan', Raees' and 'Dilwale'.
