Neil says ‘Shut Up’ to Shahrukh
Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan again poured enough laughter at the Filmfare awards. But their hilarious comment does not always goes well with his guests. This time they targeted actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and the actor has not digested the insult openheartedly. His co-stars Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif stunned to see the fair and calm boy loosing his cool and burst out at the two hosts.
"Neil," said Shah Rukh, "Why do you have three first names and no surname? My name is Khan. Saif too is a Khan. How come you have no last name?"
Neil took this as an insult and asked Shahrukh and Saif to shut up. With Neil’s reaction, the auditorium turned silence. No one could imagine that it was a making. Recalling the incident with an uncomfortable laugh, Neil said: "I'm still shaking. Imagine me telling Shah Rukh Khan to shut up! But I did. That isn't all. At the end of the show I walked up to Shah Rukh and Saif and broke eggs on their heads."
Neil recalled that it was a part of the plan which the organizers and the hosts choked out. "It was all planned by Shah Rukh sir. I was told by the organisers, the Moranis, from beforehand that I was supposed to be part of Shah Rukh's act. I was supposed to reach early and rehearse for it. But as luck would have it I had gone to town to pick up my parents and got stuck in the traffic. By the time I reached the venue there was only time for a quick briefing on what I had to do."
He was supposed to throw eggs at SRK and Saif but Neil pleaded them to spare him as he could not do this being a great fan of the two. Later he walked up to the stage and broke eggs on their head.
The incident was very funny but very traumatic for Neil.
