Neil Nitin Mukesh to feature in ‘Game of Thrones’

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh who will be soon seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has reportedly bagged a role in the popular American TV series ‘Game of Thrones’.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Hollywood action director George Powell who is also the stunt director of the Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer family drama, has offered the ‘Johnny Gaddar’ a role in the Emmy-winning hit HBO series.

Powell has previously worked in films like ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Fast and Furious 6’, and has also directed stunts for ‘Game of Thrones’.

“Greg has directed two sword-fighting sequences in ‘PRDP’ for which I had to train for over a month in order to get the stance and wrist movements right. He seemed pretty impressed with all the hard work I put in and made the offer when we were shooting for the climax scene a few months ago,” Neil was quoted by the tabloid.

The actor also revealed that  a representative from the show will come and meet him in Mumbai to further discuss the role. Describing his role, Neil said he will be playing the role of a royal, just like in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. He will also partake in action scenes, Neil added.

He also said that he would have no qualms about going nude on the show if the character demands. He has done it in ‘Jail’ and is not intimidated by it as an actor, Neil said.

The season six of ‘Game of Thrones’ is already being shot and will complete shooting by the year end, and if at all Neil features in the show, chances are he will be seen in season seven.
