Nargis Fakhri felt kissing Emraan “gross” and “annoying”

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri will be soon seen in ‘Azhar’ opposite Emraan Hashmi, the serial kisser. The duo will be seen locking lips not once, but multiple times in the biopic. But the ‘Rockstar’ actress had a tough time shooting the kissing scenes and it was disgusting for her.

Emraan plays the character of former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin in the biopic, while Nargis essays model-actress Sangeeta Bijlani, the cricketer’s estranged second wife. The ‘Dirty Picture’ actor sports an artificial moustache in the film to get the look of the cricketer.

This moustache was the reason why Nargis felt kissing Emraan “gross”. She found it “annoying.” When asked about the kissing scenes in ‘Azhar’, Nargis told Huffingtonpost, "He's done that a lot. For me, it was pretty gross. You see that moustache (points at the film's poster)? How do I know that's not made from pubic hair? I had to kiss that. Not once, several times. The moustache was annoying as hell [laughs]."

The leggy lass also revealed that she had no idea about the character she was supposed to play in the biopic and said that she got to know that Emraan was known as ‘serial kisser’ only after signing the contract.

Speaking to a leading daily, the actress said, “After I signed the contract, I got to know he was known as the serial kisser. We were shooting for the song ‘Bol Do Na Zara’ which means say what I want to say. I was like how can I say anything as my lips are always stuck to his (Emraan). How can I speak? And there were many retakes. I thought it was a joke and that they were pulling a prank and then I told them I am will charge extra.”

When asked if she meant for kissing Emraan she wanted to charge extra, Nargis affirmed saying, “Yes, because they kept cutting it many times and I was like what’s wrong and they would say camera, camera. And I was like liars. I got angry and upset at one point. But yes, we had a lot of romantic scenes. I think the situation then (between Azhar and Sangeeta) must have been that of a lot of love and lust”.

Also starring Prachi Desai, Gautam Gulati and Lara Dutta, ‘Azhar’ is slated to hit screens on May 13.
