Nandish Sandhu speaks on his divorce with Rashami Desai

TV actor Nandish Sandhu and wife Rashami Desai has filed for divorce. Nandish is totally broken as Rashami has filed for divorce for the second time. He had no choice but to accept it this time.

Nandish decided to break his silence on the whole issue. Talking to an online portal, the actor clarifies, "Rashami and I have had our ups and downs and it’s true that we are parting ways." But this isn't the first time Rashami filed for divorce. He reveals, "She had filed the papers a year back but I convinced her to give it another shot. This time around when she again filed the papers, I did not resist."

Nandish further quips, "I’ve given our relationship my 100 percent but looks like it was something not meant to be."

Rashmi Desai first talked about her divorce to Indian Express, Rashami said, "Yes, it is true. We are getting a divorce."  The couple had differences and was living separately for few months.

Nandish and Rashami met on the set of ‘Uttaran’ and entered matrimony in 2011. Their married life hit the rocks in 2013. To save their troubled marriage, Nandish and Rashami also took part in the dance celebrity shows, Nach Baliye 7 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 last year but the couple failed to save their marriage.

Who is wrong is tough to say but Rashami’s friends have blamed Nandish for the trouble in their paradise while the actor’s well-wishers accused the actress of being over-possessive.

Rashasmi took the decision of separation but Nandish convinced Rashami and the marriage was saved for the first time but when again Rashami wanted to separate, Nandish did not deny her the right to make her own choice and move on.

Confirming the news to the leading daily, Rashami said, “Yes, the divorce proceedings have begun. We tried our best to save the marriage, but the cracks in the relationship were beyond repair. If two people are not happy together, it’s better to end the relationship than prolong the suffering. We decided that we should free each other from the marital bond.”
