‘Mom’ song: Sridevi’s daughter parties away in peppy song ‘Kooke Kawn’

The makers of Sridevi’s upcoming film ‘Mom’ have released its second song titled ‘Kooke Kawn’. It is a catchy Punjabi track, a full-on party number energetically sung by Sukhwinder Singh and penned by Irshad Kamil. Music maestro A.R. Rahman has composed the peppy music.

The one-and-a-half minute features Sridevi’s daughter Arya, played by Pakistani actress Sajal Ali, dancing away the night and enjoying her time with friends at a party. The video also shows a worried Sridevi arriving at the party to pick up her daughter. She is dazed seeing the atmosphere around her.

The first song ‘O Sona Tere Liye’ released last week was a soothing number in the soulful vocals of composer A R Rahman and Shashaa Tirupati. The video featured Sridevi and her family, including on-screen daughter Sajal, on a hill side vacation.

‘Mom’ is a suspense thriller and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshay Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui. Two well-crafted and suspenseful trailers of the film have been released, but they barely give out any hint about the movie’s plotline. The film revolves around Sridevi’s character of a protective mother who is searching for her daughter who is in some kind of trouble.

Written and directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, 'Mom' is all set to release on July 7.
