‘Mom’ poster: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s unrecognisable avatar is scary

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has undergone a drastic transformation for his upcoming film ‘MOM’, and a glimpse of his character was also seen in the film’s teaser that released earlier in April. Now, the acclaimed actor today (May 4) shared a poster of the Sridevi starrer film that features him.

Nawazuddin is completely unrecognisable in creepy the image. He is seen with a huge forehead due to balding with crocked tooth. He is wearing glasses and his expression is chilling. The poster has the actor wearing a sleevless jacket above his shirt with a pen tucked in chest-pocket, and carrying an attaché case. In keeping with the theme of the film, the background of the poster is grim.

Nawazuddin shared the poster on Twitter and wrote, “Things may not be what they seem. #LooksCanBeDeceptive @MOMTheMovie @SrideviBKapoor @ZeeStudios.”

‘Mom’ is a pluse-racing thriller starring Sridevi in the titular character. While nothing much is known about the film, the teaser did leave the audience intrigued. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, and and Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali who plays Sridevi’s daughter. Sushant Singh, Amrita Puri and Raj Zutshi are also a part of the cast, while music maestro A.R. Rahman has composed its music.

Produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and is directed by Ravi Udyawar, ‘Mom’ was previously scheduled to release on July 14, but it has been preponed and will now hit screens on July 7.
