‘Mohenjo Daro’ shoot halted due to Hrithik’s back pain

The shooting for Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ has been put on hold as the actor’s back ache has resurfaced. Hrithik’s back pain has aggravated so much that he had to take a short break from the shoot.

“The ongoing schedule on the city outskirts had to be called off as Hrithik is not keeping well. He had been shooting non-stop for the film and has done some challenging stunts despite the shoulder injury he sustained a few months ago. But now chronic backache has forced him to take some time off from the shoot,” Mid-day quoted a source as saying.

Doctors have advised Hrithik to take rest for at least four to five days before he starts working again. The ‘Bang Bang’ star has been suffering from excruciating pain for many years. The actor reportedly suffered herniated disc in his late teens.

The Ashutosh Gowariker directed epic adventure-love story will resume its shooting in a few days. “Hrithik will most likely resume shooting on Monday. The major schedule of the film is yet to be shot and for that, the makers need him to be completely fit and are willing to wait for him to get better,” the source told the tabloid.

Mohenjo Daro’ also stars Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi among others. As of now, the film is scheduled to release on August 21, 2016.
