Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mahaakshay’s wedding cancelled

Due to rape charges on Mahaakshay, the wedding ceremony of Mithun Chakraborty and Yogita Bali'son was cancelled on the wedding day. Mahaakshay aka Mimoh was accused of rape, cheating and forced abortion and following which police is investigating the case.

The wedding of Mithun’s son is scheduled to take place today on July 8th in Ooty but when the investigation team arrived at the venue, the bride’s family left the place.

Delhi court has granted anticipatory bail to Mahaakshay aka Mimoh in the rape case.

On Thursday, the Bombay High Court had refused to grant any interim relief to Mahaakshay. After they moved the Delhi court, Special Judge Ashutosh Kumar granted the relief to the star son, saying they have deep roots in society and are not likely to abscond.

Mimoh has been accused of rape, cheating and forced abortion by a Hindi and Bhojpuri actress. On Monday, a Delhi court has ordered registration of FIR against Mithun’s son.

It is alleged that Mahaakshay got physical with the actress on the pretext of marrying her. The actress alleged that Mahaakshay established physical relationship with her and when she got pregnant with her child, he gave her some medicines which caused the abortion.

On hearing the accusations of the actress, the court said investigation by the police is necessary "keeping in view the high and influential status of respondents 1 and 2 being the son and the wife of renowned and veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty".

ANI reported# Delhi: Rohini Court orders registration of FIR against actor Mithun Chakraborty's wife Yogeeta Bali and son Mahaakshay on charges of rape, cheating and causing miscarriage without consent.

The court further said that according to the law, an FIR must be registered in cases of rape.

Mahaakshay aka Mimoh was supposed to get married to Madalsa Sharma, the daughter of filmmaker Subhash Sharma and actress Sheela Sharma. 

In March this year, Mimoh and Madalsa got engaged at Mithun’s residence. The marriage is scheduled to held in Ooty.
