Did Shahid's wife Mira Rajput take a dig at Kareena Kapoor?

Shahid Kapoor’s beautiful wife Mira Rajput recently opened up about on marriage, pregnancy and motherhood, at an event on the occasion of International Women’s Day. However, Mira’s comments about may not go down well with Shahid’s ex-flame Kareena Kapoor’s idea of motherhood.

Mira said that she loves being home and is proud of being a homemaker and wants to spend every moment with her daughter. “I had a difficult pregnancy and now I want to spend every moment I can with my daughter. I have a set of responsibilities on my plate and my future is ahead of me. I can finish all my responsibilities and then I will have nothing in my way. I can raise my daughter, be a good wife, and set up my home the way I like. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

She added, “I don’t want to spend one hour in the day with my child and then rush off to work. Why did I have her then? She is not a puppy; I want to be there for her as a mother. Seeing her grow up can’t be quantified.”

Clearly, Mira’s idea of motherhood is quite contrasting to that of Bollywood latest yummy mummy Kareena, who also already got back to work.

Kareena and Saif Ali Khan became parents of baby Taimur about four months after Shahid and Mira welcomed their daughter Misha. Mira almost vanished from public eye after she became pregnant, and in months after child-birth, she was spotted on a few occasions at airport. Shahid and Mira also kept away Misha from the media for a long time, sharing her first proper picture only earlier last month.

On the other hand, Kareena has handled her pregnancy gracefully, continuing with her work and winning appreciation for her stylish outings. And after giving birth to Taimur, within days Kareena and Saif was spotted on a dinner date, and the actress is often spotted hanging out with her sister and their gang. But for all who ‘wonder’ how Kareena manages her professional like with such a small kid, the actress befitting says, “I’m lucky I’ve a loving and a supporting husband. Because right now he’s looking after Taimur – so we share the responsibility.”
