Milind Soman wins the toughest Ironman Triathlon

Former model and Bollywood actor Milind Soman won the ‘Ironman’ title for himself at the age of 50. He is an athlete and his fitness is mind-blowing. He won the toughest triathlon in the World by defeating 2000 participants from all over the globe. 'Ironman Triathlon' was held in Zurich in Switzerland on Sunday. 

In 15 hours and 19 minute, Milind Soman completed the difficult triathlon to win the title of 'Ironman'. He was a part of the Indian team lead by 12 time winner Dr.Redkar from Pune. Considered to be the toughest in the world, World Triathlon Corporation organized the competition every year which includes a 180.2 km cycle ride, a 3.8km swim and a 42.2 km run. To win the coveted title of ‘Ironman’, the participants have to complete the race in 16 hours.

In 2012, Milind Soman was named in Limca Book record for running 1,500 km in Greenathon.  Soman, who was also a National Swimming Champion consecutively for four years has been practising for the competition for the past few months.
