Mika Singh robbed of jewellery worth 2lakh, 1 lakh cash

Punjabi singer Mika Singh has lodged a complaint of theft from his house in the Oshiwara area of Andheri west. He lodged the complaint at Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station reporting that jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh and one lakh rupees cash has been missing from his residence.

Mika’s manager lodged the complaint on behalf of the singer and police have started the investigation. The incident took place between 3pm and 4pm on Monday. No arrest has been made so far but one of the singer’s aides, Ankit Vasan, was captured exiting Mika’s home at the Enclave Building around the time of the theft in the CCTV.

When contacted, Sailesh Pasalwar, senior police inspector, Oshiwara police station, told Mirror, “A case under section 381(theft by clerk or servant) of the IPC has been registered against Ankit. We are trying to trace him.”
