‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ trailer 4: Parineeti’s carefree attitude shocks Abhi’s mom
The makers of upcoming film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ are releasing its trailers chapter-wise, like a book. Starting from last Monday (April 3), three chapters have been released and the fourth one was out on Thursday. The rom-com stars Ayushmann Khurranaa in the role of a Bengali fiction writer named Abhimanyu Roy, while Parineeti Chopra plays an aspiring named Bindu Shankar Narayanan.
The fourth trailer or chapter 4 is titled ‘Bindu V/S Maa’, and showcases how Bindu keeps irritating Abhimanyu’s mother, played by popular Bengali actress Aparajita Auddy. The trailer begins with Bindu giving two rings on Abhi’s land phone, which is their secret code to meet. “Two rings means emergency,” Bindu explains to Abhi, and the emergency is that she has got a new puppy…
Ayushmann narrates how his mother dislikes this ‘do ring wali’ neighbour, who is on the top of her hitlist. Parineeti, in her effervescent self, flaunts Tamil dialogues in front of Abhi’s mother. She shocks her by saying the she and Abhi have been to a bar recently. Abhi’s mother complains that Abhi is wasting his life after this girl. Classic Bollywood song, Bappi Lahiri’s ‘Koi yahaan, aha nache nache’ from ‘Disco Dancer’, plays in the backdrop in the trailer.
With this, now the fifth and final chapter of trailer is remaining, which will be out on Friday, April 7. The teaser and the four trailers have already shot up the excitement around the movie.
‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ has been produced by Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films banner, and directed by Akshay Roy. It is slated to hit theatres on May 12.
