Mani Ratman rushes to hospital, confirms ‘all is well’

Filmmaker Mani Ratman was rushed to hospital following chest pain and after doctors’ investigation he was discharged. He is doing fine and nothing scary, informs hospital authority. He was taken to Apollo hospital after the filmmaker complained of chest pain.

He was not admitted.

"He had come to the hospital for a check-up. His condition is fine. He has not been admitted," the hospital official told IANS.

Many celebrities from the south film industry visited the filmmaker at hospital in Chennai.

However, this is not the first time that Ratnam has complained of chest pain. Apparently, he survived a heart attack during the shooting of ‘Yuva’. Later, he suffered heart attack in 2009 and also in 2016 and was admitted to hospital.

On the work front, Mani Ratnam recently wrapped up his next multi-starrer,’ Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.
