Mamta Kulkarni is not my wife: drug mafia Vicky Goswami

Vicky Goswami, who is wanted in Rs 2,000 crore drug smuggling, spoke about his alleged relationship with former Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni and his association with drug mafia, Kishor Rathode and Manoj Jain. Vicky denied that Mamta is his wife and his partner in crime in drug dwelling. Police suspect that Mamta Kulkarni is representing her husband and attends international meetings abroad as Vicky is under surveillance and can’t travel abroad.

Vicky said, "She is a well-wisher. When I was in trouble, she stood by me. People are talking rubbish about her. They don't know what a kind soul she is. Why are people calling me Mamta Kulkarni's husband? What husband? I swear I was never married to her. All they want is masala so that they can make a Bollywood potboiler on drug racket. I saw a report that claims she has been to South Africa, Singapore, and America - all this is nonsense. They can come and check her passport. It clearly shows that she has never been to any of these places."

Vicky claimed that Thane Police is acting against him under the pressure of DEA, which is an American Agency. "If they have any proof they should show me. US can't start the extradition process till the time I am in Kenya as I have signed a bond here." Vicky also revealed his past and said there are people who have relentlessly tried to victimise him. "I was in dubai prison for over 15 years. I became a victim of discrimination. Our embassy knew about it. Our foreign ministry knew about it also. Some unknown people are trying to destroy me," he said.

According to the Thane Police, in January Goswami had met Manoj Jain and Kishore Rathod to discuss a drug transaction. Explaining the meeting, Goswami said, "See I am an international man and people come here for holidays. Anybody comes and visits me doesn't mean I do business with them."

However, the Thane Police has maintained that Goswami had met Kishore Rathod more than 20 times in the last one year.

"I have never met Kishore for 20 times which they can check themselves... his passports and they can check his immigration checkout also. If they are saying 20 times, they are lying. His father has been family friend of mine. I met him in December-January around that time. They come for holidays," Goswami said, quashing the allegations.

Without naming anyone, Goswami claimed that some people were targeting him and trying to put him behind bars.

"I have been victimised many a times in my life. I was in Dubai for over 15 years. I pardoned in Dubai and the foreign ministry in India is aware about it. There are people who want to destroy me. I can't name them but the whole world is aware about them," Goswami said, adding, that a diplomat had told him that there are people who want him in jail.

When asked about the recent drug seizure by Thane police worth Rs 2,000 crore, Vicky totally dismissed the report.

"That thing holds zero valuation in the market. From where this figure of Rs 2,000 crore has come. This is all rubbish," he said.
