Malaika Arora bonds with the Kapoor family at Ambani’s party

A new picture from Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s pre-wedding festivities in Switzerland surfaced which shows Malaika Arora bonding great time with the Kapoors.

Posted by Natasha Poonawalla, the picture has Arjun Kapoor with his ladylove Malaika posing happily with Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor with her boyfriend Karan Boolani and Manish Malhotra at the backdrop of snow-clad mountain.

Another picture shared on social media showed Malaika twinned with Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor.

Rumour strongly buzzed that Malaika and Arjun will have a Christian wedding in April.

A source close to the couple revealed to The Asian Age, “Malaika and Arjun have decided to get married in the month of April and it will be a church wedding. Malaika’s younger sister Amrita Arora also had a church wedding with her husband Shakeel Ladak in 2009.”

Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan graced ‘Koffee With Karan 6’ and Karan asked her about being a bridesmaid at Malaika’s wedding, The filmmaker asked Kareena, “Rumour is you will be one of the bridesmaids at Malaika-Arjun’s wedding. Is it true?” Bebo just smiled and very smartly changed the topic.

Malaika also shared the couch with Kirron Kher, Vir Das, and Mallika Dua at Karan's chat show and when Karan asked all four of them about the ‘Best Performance Male' on the show, Kirron Kher took Arjun Kapoor's name and without wasting a second Malaika said, "I like Arjun, this way or that way."

When Arjun came on Karan's show, he revealed about his marriage plans. "Yes, now I am. Earlier, I wasn't," he confessed.

Malaika was previously married to Arbaaz Khan. The former couple, who have a 16-year-old son Arhaan together, have remained on cordial terms even after their divorce.

On Kareena's radio show 'What Women Want', which airs on Ishq 104.8 FM, Malaika opened up about her divorce. She revealed that when she initially told her friends and family members about her decision, they asked her to reconsider the decision.

"I think sab ki pehli yehi raai hai ki mat karna. Koi aapko nahi kahega ki, 'Haan, haan, please jayiye, kariye.' That's the first thing, ki aap soch samajh ke yeh decision lena. I went through the same thing," she said.
