Mahapooja and posh bungalow for Rani-Aditya’s baby Adira


Rani Mukherji and Aditya Chopra welcome their first child in on 9th December and the the ecstatic parents are already started showering expensive gifts to their newborn, whom they named Adira means strong, powerful and courageous.

The new parents Rani and Aditya are apparently planning a 'Mahapooja' for the little baby. And the family has also started preparing for the same. The pooja will be conducted on Adira's 6th day after birth.

Uncle Uday Chopra broke the good news to the world and soon congratulatory messages started to pour in.

"I would like to thank all my well wishers and fans. Today life has given us God's greatest gift with Adira. We thank fans our friends and well wishers for their unconditional support and blessings. With joy we begin this new chapter in our lives," Rani said in a statement.

The preparations of their brand new house in Juhu is underway. The duo has bought two plots of land where their palatial bungalows are under construction for now.

Gauri Khan was the first to visit the newborn. Meanwhile, there is tight security in and around Mumbai Breach Candy hospital where Adira was delivered. Six guards are deployed  outside the main gate and two guards each near the lift area. Nobody is allowed to go without a pass above the ground floor of the hospital. No one except the hospital staff is allowed to enter the sea-facing room of the actress.

Well, now he wait is for baby Adira’s first glimpse.
