Madhuri Dixit slams media for fake report on her beauty regimen confession

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit found herself in the thick of controversy when reports surfaced that the actress had stated that the secret to her youthful skin wasn’t the result of the product she had been endorsing for years, but another brand.

Following the reports, the ‘Gulab Gang’ actress was criticised for diluting public trust in the product. It also raised questions whether celebrities promoting a product actually believe in it.

Outraged by the reports, Madhuri today took to Twitter to clarify herself and slammed the media for carrying ‘fake’ report.

“A fake Vogue website carries a fake quote. Other media make it a real controversy without checking facts. I have informed the brand. I know my responsibility as an ambassador. Now let’s discuss media’s responsibility to readers and advertisers. over to you,” the 49-year-old actress wrote in a series of tweets.

Currently, Mudhuri is a judge on the Indian version of dance reality show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, along with choreographers Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis.
