Madhuri Dixit returns to TV as judge of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene will be returning to television as one of the judges of the Indian version of internationally acclaimed dance reality show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. She has previously judged the popular celebrity dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.

Trained in the classical dance form of Kathak, Madhuri is known for her million-dollar smile and graceful and expressive dancing.

The desi ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ which will air on & TV will also have on its judges’ panel choreographers Terence Lewis who previously judged ‘Dance India Dance’, and Bosco Martis of Bosco-Ceasar fame. The show will witness a battle between two dance forms - Stage and Street fight.

“Bosco will take charge of street and raw urban style while I’ll look into the technical aspects of the stage performances. Madhuri will oversee the Indian styles,” Terence said in a statement.

Internationally, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ features a tiered format wherein dancers from a variety of styles enter open auditions to showcase their unique styles and talents.

The Indian version of the show will go on air in April.
