Lovebirds Aditya, Shraddha go for a movie date

Rumours have being doing the rounds for some time about the relationship of Bollywood lovebirds Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The pair was seen along with John Abraham, Ileana D'Cruz and Varun Dhawan at the special screening of David Dhavan’s ‘Main Tera Hero’ on Thursday April 3.

But, the ‘Aashiqui 2’ lead pair is going all out to play it safe and it seems they are not yet ready to declare their relationship. While Aditya was seen with his brother Siddharth Roy Kapoor at the screening, Shraddha was seen keeping to herself at the event.

Reportedly, David Dhawan hosted the special screening for his son Varun Dhawan, where a number of Bollywood biggies such as Juhi Chawla, John Abraham, Huma Qureshi were spotted.

‘Main Tera Hero’ actress Ileana D’Cruz was also seen with Varun Dhawan in a polka-dot dress, but the other star Nargis Fakhri was clearly absent at the show.

The lead actors of last year’s musical superhit ‘Aashiqui 2’, Shraddha and Aditya were recently seen on Karan Johar’s popular TV show.

Karan tried hard, but he could not get the couple to admit to being a relationship, although they sang together to a song of the film at his request and were seen showering compliments on each other, too.

Aditya said, “Aashiqui kind of love? I don’t think that has happened between us.”

Shraddha avoided the question by saying, “I think you should ask him (Aditya) that?”

Aditya’s brave response was, “I am very much in love with Aditya Roy Kapur. I think he is a great guy.”

Aditya started his career as a VJ on television’s Channel V and later made his acting debut in the 2009 musical drama ‘London Dreams’ by Vipul Shah, where he co-starred Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan as one of the two brothers.

Then he starred in the Vipul Shah’s next, comedy ‘Action Replayy’ in 2010,  and acted with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Guzaarish’ also  in 2010 directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where he was seen as a trainee magician to Hrithik Roshan’s character.  And in 2013, the actor starred in ‘Aashiqui 2’ directed by Mohit Suri.

Shraddha began her acting career with ‘Teen Patti’ in 2010, which earned her a nomination in the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut category. In 2013, she was appreciated for her performance in the romantic drama ‘Aashiqui 2, which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Actress nomination, among others.
